Sunny ….Batsford Arboretum!!!

A great place for a visit is the Batsford Arboretum.

It is well-known for its large collection of trees and shrubs but mostly for Japanese cherry trees and Magnolias .

Their colours are so incredibly beautiful and stunning . The alliums and bluebells were out in bloom and I have never seen so many planted in the one spot.

And the sun was shinning! I thoroughly enjoyed my day out and it was an unforgettable experience and adventure for all family.  Alex said I didn’t know that is so beautiful! andI know for sure he had a lovely day!

Eric Bibb concert

On 30/4/10 I’ve seen  Eric Bibb performing live at Cheltenham Jazz Festival.  What a great bluesman and a great concert!!  His performance was so inspirational and powerful.  I love his style, his music, and with his rich and sensitive voice he draws me into the moment more as a participant than as a listener.

He played up songs from his latest new album, Booker’s Guitar blues folk and bluesy gospel acoustic music like Flood Water, Sunrise blues, Wayfaring Stranger, Booker’s Guitar, New Home, Nobody faults but mine  etc. His album inspired by the discovery of a 1930s steel-body guitar that had belonged to Delta blues legend Booker White, an older cousin to B.B. King Bibb recorded the title track in England using White’s guitar.

He is really worthwhile checking him out and for me it was a great night of uplifting music!
