Crucible Exhibition!

My impression of the Crucible exhibition was really good. A superb range of 76 sculptures from many British artists all set throughout the Cathedral building and grounds. In my opinion it couldn’t be a better place to display these artifacts. Some of the sculptures were a bit harsh and gruesome and others I loved. Damien Hirst’s ‘St. Bartholomew, Exquisite Pain’ is also very impressive… and powerful as well as David Mach’s huge and tormented Calvery.

The crypt tour was also quite interesting.
Overall, it was an amazing exhibition in an equally amazing setting.  I think Alex enjoyed it too!
